Medication Collection

Collect your Government - issued medication Komkhulu.

The Nkosi Minenkulu Joyi Foundation is committed to tackling the significant problem of medication adherence within the rural regions of the Eastern Cape, South Africa. Acknowledging the difficulties residents face in obtaining chronic medication because of geographical barriers and transportation issues, the NMJF has refurbished a facility within the facilities of the Royal residents.

This initiative aims to centralize access to chronic medication for the community, thereby alleviating the potential for overcrowding at local health centers, which offer a wide range of health services. By facilitating a more convenient and rapid medication collection process at the NMJF Pick-up Centre, the Foundation enhances medication adherence, retention, and overall health outcomes by ensuring easier and quicker access to necessary treatments.

NMJF will be rolling out the program to Traditional Council service centre buildings throughout the Eastern Cape in order for nearer access.
